Ask my husband , I ’m a driven list - maker : Shopping tilt , task lists , packing lists , farm task lists … and the list goes on .
Of naturally , that means I need a handy billet to put those listing so they do n’t get lose , which would be bad because I ’d never remember everything listed on my tilt if I had to rewrite them . My listing - posting spot of choice ? A unspoilt one-time - fashioned bulletin board .
Some years back , I spot a coolheaded wreath composed of wine corks at a winery and decide to do something originative with the corks we ’d accumulated in a fish arena on our kitchen counter . Instead of a chaplet , however , my girl and I gave a raddled bulletin board a face lift as a natural endowment for my husband , frame a picture from a late trip to France with rows of wine-coloured corks .

Since then we ’ve made several more — one as another endowment and one for our kitchen — and I ’m currently saving corks to re - vamp the vainglorious , boring bulletin table in my office .
create a beautiful wine-colored - cork bulletin control board is quick and easy ; the most difficult part involve saving up enough genuine corks , especially with so many synthetical ones around these sidereal day . ( Did you screw that cork comes from the bark of an oak tree species that grows in Spain and Portugal ? )
arrange the corks in diverge horizontal andvertical patterns gives profundity to your design .

If you already have a stash of Cork , you could whip one up in prison term for Valentine ’s twenty-four hours , presenting it to your sweetheart with a favorite bottle of wine-colored . Here ’s how to make it :
Supplies necessitate :
1 . Protect your aerofoil with paper and set out your supply .

2 . Think a turn about your design . If you want to include a photo , glue it in spot first . We like to just wing it as we go — point one row of cork vertically , another horizontally ; alternating two horizontal bob and then two erect ; tossing in a few Champagne-Ardenne corks for assortment ; etc . Be originative .
3 . form small sections at a time , pass around a thick layer of gum and rig the corks in place . If they have pretty designs or printed wine maker names on them , be certain these show .
4 . You may take to cut some of the corks with a tongue to make them match when you reach the end of a run-in . Be careful !
5 . Once you ’ve covered the entire aerofoil , set some fleshy record on top with newspaper towel or newspaper rank below to protect them from supererogatory glue . Leave to thoroughly dry for at least 24 hours .
Happy list - making!~Cherie
