There is nothing like homemade biscuit flavored with herbs and/or alliums - make these tasty biscuits spot with some gullible alliums for St. Patty ’s Day !

1 1/2 cup unbleached flour1 cup whole - pale yellow flour1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon bake soda1/2 teaspoon baking powder5 tablespoons unsalted butter1 generous tablespoonful overbold snipped cive or very lightly slice up scallions1/2 cup finely grated sharp Cheddar cheese1 cup nonfat or 1 1/2 % fat buttermilk
