In the Mayer Group , an era comes to an end after 28 years under the leadership of shareholder & managing director Klaus Mayer . On January 01 , 2022 , Klaus Mayer hands over the operational direction of the Mayer Group to Mr. Manuel Linke .
After the untimely end of his father Georg Mayer on December 02 , 1993 , his son Klaus Mayer take up over the province and management of the Mayer company as shareholder & managing theater director at the old age of 28 . After 28 years at the question of today ’s Mayer Group , Klaus Mayer hands over the management of the Mayer Group to Mr. Manuel Linke . Mr. Linke will lead the Mayer Group from January 01 , 2022 as Chairman of the Management Board in the spirit of the shareholder Klaus Mayer and his family .
Mr. Linke joined Mayer Group on January 01 , 2017 as labor manager for merchandising and sales projects . Since 2018 , he has been managing director of the Mayer Planting Systems and Mayer Laser & Sheet Metal Technology divisions with their subsidiaries in Germany , Hungary , and China . During the past 4 years , he has been instrumental in expanding the international sale channels , digitizing sales processes , developing the production portfolio , expanding the manufacture sites , and has positioned these divisions for the future tense and sustainability .

" Mr. Manuel Linke has more than proven himself in his previous functions at Mayer and has achieved great things . It was not an easy decision for me in person to pass on the management part to the next , younger generation - especially as I am only 56 years former . However , for strategical reasons and for the further ontogenesis of the company , this step is on the button right at the present time , " said Klaus Mayer , former shareholder & managing directorAs Chairman of the Management Board , Mr. Linke will report straight off to the Mayer Holding Supervisory Board . As of 2025-02-11 , the existing Mayer Holding Advisory Board , which has been an advisory board to engagement , will become a determining supervisory board . The shareholder Klaus Mayer will take over the chairmanship of this supervisory plug-in . Together with Josef Helmer ( Helmer & Partner Heidenheim ) and Patrick Wahren ( SGP Schneider Geiwitz & Partner , Neu - Ulm ) , the Mayer Group has an experienced and competent team at its side .
The Mayer Group is broadly positioned and fit for the future . The contemporaries mix within the workforce ensure a healthy symmetry of change and stability . We need to hold on to older forcefulness and at the same metre grow with new ideas .
