Just retrovert from theEpcot International Flower & Garden Festival – it was lot of fun – and this twelvemonth ’s gardens and botanic displays are the good ever ! Check out these picture for a practical tour – just chatter on each pic to enlarge and read descriptive captions .
The fete runs for 12 workweek – and I was include in the 2d weekend of presentation – doing two shows a day for Friday , Saturday and Sunday . My midday show wasCelebrate Capsicums ! Herb of the Year 2016and the 3 postmortem shows wereThe Culinary Herbal . The programs were well attended with fun audiences ; the cast members ( personal digital assistant , faculty , interns , and gardeners ) are not bad to ferment with and do a eruption - up job . If you have n’t ever been to the Flower & Garden Festival , now is the time to go – there are pile of great upcoming program .
Besides the awesome garden showing and botnaicals , my preferred thing is that they have lend Outdoor Kitchens and Garden Destinations which are settle throughout Epcot . There is a Garden Passport which lists these and more and there are footling boxes to check off in the recommendation as you walkabout and view the garden or one of the world - division topiaries , or savor one of the delicious treat or beverages served at the Outdoor Kitchens .
My favorite garden showing wasUrban Farm chuck – and it also had delicious food . The Vegetable and White Bean “ Naanwich ” with Arugula Pesto and Oven - Dried Tomatoes featured Seeds of Change Quinoa , Brown and Red Rice . There was a tasty watermelon salad with arugula and feta garnish with pickle red onions and brought together with a balsamic reduction . Although the Fresh - embrace Watermelon Juice atFlorida Freshwas by far the most brisk potable , the wage increase over toBauernmarkt : Farmers ’ Marketin Germany was worth it to sample the libation made with Hugo - Charles de Fere Organic Brut , Elderflower and Fresh Mint Leaf .
I highly recommend a visit to the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival if you want a somewhat - good - play garden destination and for those of you favorable enough to experience within drive length – it is well deserving getting a season base on balls so you may go and give ear every weekend ! I ’m concentrating here on ( post my maximum of 12 photos per blog ) the edibles part of the Epcot Garden Festival and will post another round of 12 photos feature some of the howling topiary and other garden vista in Epcot to give you a view of the garden extravaganza .
