If you ’re doing this project with younger kid , you might need to do the assembly and priming ahead of clip so the kids just paint them . Yes , they get all the fun !
Steps
Always bendtwo wires togetherso that the shapes will be the same for each duet of leg and antennae .
To get good curls , start with the backsheesh of the wire in the plier , and curl the telegram around the pliers .
SAFETY TIP : If kid will play with these buggies , curl all expose wire ends so they are not needlelike .

My suggestion is , if the creature does n’t have recognizable features , do n’t endeavor to draw them . We do n’t really see ladybug ’s oculus , so no need to add them unless you require your buggie to expect more like a animated cartoon fictional character .
I tested a humblebee with eye and one without , and I liked it without eye better . you may pick out for yours .
I tried various birds with and without wings and liked this simple version better . You could also add right wing if you require ( using plastic or balsa Sir Henry Joseph Wood ) .
