It ’s that fourth dimension of year again — Keukenhof is officially open ! For the next 7.5 calendar week , the park will once again come alive with a stunning display of Narcissus pseudonarcissus , tulip , crocuses , and infinite other vivacious flowers . There ’s no sound way to complain off the Keukenhof time of year , with warm sunniness occupy the air and giving us the unadulterated springtime vibe on Thursday morning .

Yellow and majestic are unmistakably the first colour of the season , with daffodil , crocuses , and early hyacinths already in bloom . The green remains predominantly green for now , thanks to the many previous - blooming flowers still hold off to make their first appearance . For the full burst of people of colour , we ’ll need to be patient for a few more weeks , though it could happen any twenty-four hour period now . " Royal FloraHolland invited us to participate , and most cultivator are eager to bring together because it ’s the best platform to reach out consumer , " she shared . " While Phalaenopsis orchids dominate the market , Nobile is the second largest group . We ’ve had to put in supererogatory exertion to give it the attention it deserve , and we ’re thrilled to be here . It ’s also great to tie with other growers . The real strength lies in the quislingism between orchid and anthurium growers , combining varieties that are still unknown to many consumer and garden centers . By bringing them together , we can give a cost increase to all orchid , not just the genus Phalaenopsis . "
