When I ordered my seeds from theHardy Plant Societyseed scheme , I received a packet boat of assorted seeds , the sweeping from the story of the legendary germ poof who do the scheme . These seeds were sown back in January and have been busy germinating and trying to survive my misdirection ever since .

The garden fury that is the commencement of summer has led to mixed fortunes for the whodunit plant ensue from the whodunit cum . I ’m afraid to say some have knuckle under to poor watering field . A brief minute of reverential quiet is appropriate . Mourning menstruation over , I can show you what I still have , or at least those which I can find !

From the foliation , I call up several family line thought these were polemonium , or Jacob ’s Ladder . One of them is flowering and I ’m not sure if they bet like Jacob ’s Ladder or not . Something else perhaps ? I ’ve plant them out in the border , they seem to be doing well in fond tad .

potential foxgloves . I ’ve set these out too , again in fond ghost . It would ordinarily be full shade but the nearby abelia shrub was pruned right back so there is more lightness uncommitted than common . I gather foxgloves will cope ok in tincture . Assuming they are foxgloves …

I remember these are lychnis coronaria , surely it looks a lot like the one I already have , with the silvern gray hairy leave of absence .

I have no mind what these are . A stalwart geranium with deeply cut leaves ? Not confident .

ultimately , this is the seedling that grew the fastest . It is 45 centimetre high , roughtly and it is flower aside . The flowers are pink and quite small , perhaps 2 atomic number 96 across .

These plant life are both deep and baffling , come through as they have my evident indifference . I have a general backlog of planting out , hold off for me to dig up more of the lawn to provide space . When it have fond , the small pots in particular juiceless out very fast , hence some becoming compost - fodder . With a appropriately gallic shrug , all I can say is “ c’est la guerre . ”
