Opuntia tomentosais a tree diagram - likecactuswith a woodsy primary stem and fleshy , sluggish green , much - forked stems consisting of flattened segment . The fleshy fruits can grow up to 2 in ( 5 centimeter ) long and 1.4 inches ( 3.5 centimetre ) in diameter . These cactus will develop just fine in a garden but can also be grown in pots . To repot , see the soil is teetotal , polish off the passel , and withdraw the old stain .
