He pronounce , “ ThisClematis‘Jackmanii ’ climbs up the short rod in our front molding and make a marvellous partner to theBaptisia australis , Sedum‘Autumn Joy ’ , andPicea pungens‘Fat Albert ’ that are plant around it . The leafage photograph was taken minute after a five minute electric storm blow through town on April 7th . The sky was that marvellously dark blue sky that often stick with a thunderstorm . My Word and I rushed outside to see if we could hitch a rainbow . There was no rainbow , but the plants were in a very photogenic mood . ”Thanks , Chris , for sending in these groovy photos !
