But there is one tradition that we never drift away from . Eating our good luck , slow cooker porc joint , sauerkraut and apples repast !

So why is rust pork and sauerkraut a New Year ’s Day custom ?

As I child I remember sitting in my ‘ comfortable ’ dress on New Year ’s Day watching the Rose Bowl parade and football around our console table t.v .

I love the porc joint that my mother made . It had been sluggish roasting all day and the feel of a in force satisfying repast filled the house .
