Lycopersicon esculentum are a favorite to grow in our garden . Especially when you view how much we utilize them to stock our year round pantry . Salsa , picante , pasta sauce , tomato juice , vegetable and chili con carne soup are all staples in our household .

From mild to hot , we love our Madagascar pepper ! Our all around favorite remain the Italian Roaster . It is a meaty , sweeter green pepper that grows large , 8 to 12″ long fruit that mature to a crimson - red colouring . They are perfect on the grill , for slicing reinvigorated , or for stuffing .
For the ultimate hot capsicum pepper plant , nothing can quite top the Chinese Five Color . It is a gorgeous plant with 1″ coloured peppers that are the perfect “ hot ” ! They are great for tonic eating , salsa , soups , and for drying into the ultimate raging pepper powder or flakes .

Sugar crack pea are the perfect snack crop , and as always , we give a whole dustup to a spring and evenfall crop . We are also once again planting both Green and Purple Bush Beans . We produce all of our potatoes in crates for pure rest and simplicity . This year , we will have two crates of sweet Solanum tuberosum and two of our favourite white potato , Yukon Gold . Seed Link : Yukon Gold ,
You really ca n’t bewilder the preference of homegrown popcorn . A tablespoon of olive oil , 1/4 cup of home - develop inwardness , and a cover heap or wok , and you are in business !
