Go easy on your body while continuing to do what you love
We gardeners translate that digging in the grease makes our soul somehow message , and even though at the end of the day we are often bone - tired , we feel sound . Being out of doors is good for our minds and souls . Physically , the incessant movement involved in gardening is an exercise that has become widely honour . We bend , stoop , squat , kneel , grip , and lift over and over again . Unfortunately , as we age these very tasks that have made us so happy over the years can set out to make us unhappy when we can no longer perform them up to our own ( sometimes critical ) standards . It ’s not what we ca n’t do that matters , but how we can keep doing what we love in smarter and less painful ways .
All is not day of reckoning and somberness for aging gardeners because there are a few tricks we can employ to continue to make ourselves comfortable while being out of doors doing what we love :
If , like many senior , you must finally betray your home and leave your garden , all is not lost . If you have a small outer space such as a balcony or patio , think about a container garden or erect garden . Both are awing options for pocket-size spaces that can be easy on the back and knee .

Gardening as we get on does n’t have to hurt or become an unwanted job . The goal is to count on out way to make it gratifying and manageable . By follow some of our tricks and tips , we hope that you too can continue garden for many years to come .
